 Eisteddfods are dance competitions for all styles of dance including, classical ballet, tap dance, jazz and contemporary.
As
a student develops their dance skills, they will be invited to enter
into private lessons for the purpose of competition work as an
individual.
Students accepted for private lessons can
also be invited to join our 'Performance Group' for troupe work, which
encourages team work and team building.
Troupes are an additional
class devoted to the teaching of team-based performance routines for
eisteddfods. Performance groups are primarily for those selected
students who study all three disciplines ballet, jazz and tap.
Troupes
encourage confidence, team spirit, commitment, leadership qualities...
and are a particularly inspirational component of a dance education.
As a studio, Carolyn's Dancing Academy has champions in almost all age groups and dance styles.
